Names of examinations and organisations appear on this site only to describe which upload rules a particular figure refers to. Their use does not imply any relationship, approval or partnership.
How The Specifications Are Compiled
The photograph and signature figures on this site are gathered from published sources, cross-checked against one another, dated, and marked with a confidence level based on how many independent sources agree.
That process is more careful than most, and it is still not the same as reading the notification. Two things routinely go wrong with figures like these, and both are outside anyone’s control.

Before you upload anything, open your notification PDF and check the upload section yourself. It usually sits in an annexure near the end. Ten minutes there is worth more than any page on this site.
Results And Acceptance
The tool produces a file at the size you ask for. Whether a portal accepts that file is a decision made by the portal, using rules and validation systems we have no access to and no influence over.
Portals commonly check several things at once, including pixel dimensions, file format, image content and how recent the photograph is. Meeting the file size is one requirement among many, so a correctly sized file can still be refused for a different reason entirely.
We cannot accept responsibility for a rejected application, a missed deadline, or any other loss arising from use of this site.
Quality And Compression
JPEG is a lossy format. Saving an image at a smaller size always discards information, and that information cannot be recovered afterwards. Nothing on this site claims otherwise, and any tool that does is overstating what the format can do.
Keep your original file until your upload has been accepted.
